Forex broker licence, Forex trade

In all reputable jurisdictions this activity would be licensed and regulated by the Financial Services Commission or its equivalent.

In Central America this activity falls under the licensing provisions of the International Financial Services Commission Act, in particular under the regulations of Statutory Instrument No XX XXXX, under type of  activity No X. "Trading in financial and commodity-based derivative instruments and other securities (e.g. futures, options, interest rates, foreign exchange instruments, shares, stock, contracts for differences, etc.)"

Primarily, in order to grant this license, the IFSC will want to verify that the applicant is a fit and proper person (preferably, a team of such persons), who have substantial expertise and experience in asset management, and who have the technical and financial means available to conduct this business properly. They will require that someone here in Central America with this expertise should be hired by the company.

Requirements and fees:

  • It is a requirement to have USD$100,000.00 in a bank here in Central America.
  • The License Fee and our gross profit is US$9,500.00
  • Local nominee director                           US$3,500.00 p.a.
  • Incorporation of local company (IBC)    US$1,500.00       

All of these special license require that one of the directors be local. The local persons must present their Due Diligence to IFSC-for investigation.

Taxation:

  • The company is an IBC company. Is not subject to any taxes  in Central America.
